Cargo shipping to Russia - Cargo Shipping
My company needs information about cargo shipping to Russia. This will essentially be a one time shipment, so we are not interested in a long-term commitment from your company. We do estimate we will require a container from your company in order to facilitate our loading of our products for the journey.
The shipment is a load of radio components and must be packaged in order to complete the trip without damage or corrosion from the elements. Therefore, we do require information on best practices in preparing products to be shipped by sea while enroute to the final destination. Would you also include information whether your company can also provide the necessary packaging for this?
We also need advise on the proper custom procedures as well. What sort of import and export documentation do we require? What sort of fees, duties, and such are required? Also, what are your charges for providing this service? This will be our first experience with shipping products overseas, so we request a great amount of information and assistance.
